Hello and a
warm welcome

Dr. Nora Engelbert
Cultural Anthropologist | Transformation & Change Manager

| Personal & Organisational Development

I am Nora Engelbert.

  • I love my life, the wonderful people and beings I meet and my work. I connect the worlds in which I move through my being and doing and interweave the paths like a root system and ramifications in a delicate and loving way.I love my life, the wonderful people and beings I meet and my work. I connect the worlds in which I move through my being and doing and interweave the paths like a root system and ramifications in a delicate and loving way.

  • I pursue transformation and change management in the IT and business world with the perspective and methods of social and cultural anthropology. With igdra space, I transfer this to the social sphere.

  • I combine the two to help people and organizations successfully navigate the 21st and 22nd centuries.

  • Improving and deepening interpersonal relationships and understanding is a central concern for me and everyone in the igdra space network.

  • Discovering new worlds inside and out and experiencing and sharing stories has been my personal driving force from an early age and, in my experience, an essential path to peaceful and appreciative cooperation.

  • These are also the foundations that we all need in order to shape the transformations in all areas of society worldwide. The content and methods of cultural anthropology help here, as it aims to understand how we live and want to live as humans (on this planet) and to spread the great creative power of art, literature, mythology, stories, dance and performance through rituals and far beyond, and to anchor it in us and the relationships we maintain with each other.

  • I have made it my mission to make applied cultural anthropology and its value for society and business better known and to bring it to effective application for global cultural change.

Areas of Action

My path so far

Influenced by rural life in a country doctor's family in Germany in the 1980s & 1990s, my grandfather's humanistic and philanthropic gene and the opportunity to travel the world as a child, I learned early on to reflect on my privileges and challenges in this world.

In my youth, I focused on promoting intercultural understanding and positive social change.

As a cultural anthropologist with a doctorate in migration, ageing and identity formation processes in Germany, Turkey and Europe, I was drawn to applying my knowledge in the fields of transcultural communication, project & change management, personnel, team & organizational development.

Here I gained a wide range of experience in different industries, countries and work cultures. I want to continue on this path.

The think tank of a different kind

The encounters with people and all the experiences that I have had and still have in life flow together in the cultural and creative space - igdra space - and unfold freely.

What happens here through co-creation with others, the results of our learning from each other, with each other and for each other, flow both within the igdra space and consciously through the community and our network into the respective spheres of influence.
