​​I am Nora Engelbert.

  • ​I love my work.

  • I approach transformation and change management in IT and business world from a social and cultural anthropologist perspective. With igdra space I transfer this into work for societies.

  • In my life I want to combine both, in order to help people and organizations to get through the 21st century successfully and to start well into 22nd century.

  • The improvement and deepening of interpersonal relationships and understanding is a central concern for me and everyone in the igdra space network.

  • The discovery of new worlds inside and outside and the experience and sharing of stories has been my personal driving force from an early age and, in my experience, an essential path to peaceful and appreciative coexistence. These are also the basics that we all need in the 21st century in order to shape the transformations well in all areas of society worldwide. The contents and methods of cultural anthropology help here.

  • I have made it my task to make applied cultural anthropology and its value for society and economy better known and to use them effectively for global cultural change.


My way so far

  • Shaped by the North Hessian country life in Germany in the 1980s & in the 1990s, my grandfather's humanistic-philanthropic genes and the opportunities to travel the world as a child, I learned early on to reflect on my privileges and challenges in this world. Early on, I focused on promoting intercultural understanding and positive social change.

  • As a cultural anthropologist with a doctorate on the subject of migration, aging and identity formation processes in Germany, Turkey and Europe, I was drawn to the application of my knowledge in the areas of transcultural communication, project & Change Management, Human Resources, Team & organizational development.

  • Here I gained a wide range of experience in different industries, countries and work cultures. I want to continue on this path.
